Ernie Els Signature 2018
The esteemed Tim Atkin MW writes, “I’m pleasantly surprised by the 2018s, says [Ernie Els Wines winemaker] Louis Strydom, and he’s not alone. This cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 5% each of Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot comes from warmer sites in a drought year, but is precise, focused and well balanced, with plenty of toasty oak and layers of mint, cassis and bramble. Styles are shifting at Ernie Els.” – South African Report 2024

Ernie Els Proprietor’s Blend 2020
Malu Lambert, leading SA Wine Journalist, writes: “Deep crimson. Classic-styling unwraps aromatics of cassis and cherries dusted in black pepper, cacao, dried vanilla pod. On entry sappy blackcurrants and plums riven with juicy cherry liqueur burst along a line of cleansing acid, cresting to a pure dark-fruited core.”
